These MLM Recruiting Techniques Will Help You Sign-up More Distributors Into Your MLM Business

When you’re on the phone with your prospect what makes them join your mlm business?

This blog post was Inspired by a conversation earlier with my sponsor Mark Hopper

This is a good question to ask!!

Why will your prospects join you in your  MLM business? Well, you need to realise that people buy things based on EMOTIONS and NOT on facts & Statistics…. & that is a FACT!!

Let me prove this to you a simpler way…

When you go out to buy a car what does the sales man tell you?

  • Does he get the engine manual out and go through how the cam-belt is held together and how many times it goes round per second?
  • Does he explain the ‘ins & outs’ of how the system management works?
  • Does he ask you to lay on the floor and slide underneath the engine so you can check out the engine mount?  

In fact, I’ll ask you this question. Would you buy a car based on this information? I know I wouldn’t!!

So back to the sales man & this is the way he speaks to you.

  • Please sit in the car sir/madam, see how the car feels in your hands? – Emotion 1
  • You can smell the real leather and it comes in 10 different colours and patterns! – Emotion 2
  • It goes from 0 – 60 mph in less than 7.5 seconds – Emotion 3
  • This type of car suites you sir/madam can you see yourself driving this home and driving past your neighbours – Emotion 4
  • Let’s take the car for a test drive so you can feel how it grips to the road and feel how smooth it is to drive – Emotion 5

I think you get my drift – I realise there’s a few hard facts you need to know so you can make the purchase however you don’t really need to know EVERYTHING!!

So let’s take this back to your MLM business. Does your MLM prospects need to know ALL the facts about your network marketing business? I hope you said “No”  & the truth is, they’ll not join you if you tell them all the facts because you’ll blind side them with info that doesn’t interest them

So this is a way to play with your MLM prospects EMOTIONS!!

First off… Theres certain things your prospects need to know about your business.

  • How long have they been operating!
  • What’s their financial situation!
  • Who runs the company!
  • Etc… Etc…

But they don’t need to know how the pills are made or what compound the metal is made from that enables it to give you a better flow of blood!!

From the prospects point of view they just need to know a few facts and the rest should be based around them & what they’ll get from it

So ask your prospect these MLM Recruiting Technique questions

“So what’s currently changed in your life to make you start looking for an alternative way to make an income”? BANG!! Your prospect will start opening up and they’ll start telling you WHY they need to join your business. At this stage all you should do is LISTEN!!

Once they’ve finished speaking, bounce back to them their reason they’ve just stated and say, “So what does that mean to you NOT to have that”? Or “Tell me more about that, what did you mean when you said XTZ”? You are starting to get the prospect to open up and then once you’ve talked about the way they feel and you have some real emotion in there you can now ask them, “So John, are you serious about achieving XYZ or are you not that serious about it right now”?

Again let them answer and then say “Great, then let’s get you started straight away, can you get next to a computer” or however you sign prospects into your business. You may need to schedule an appointment to visit them but if you do make sure it’s in the next 12 to 24 hrs.

I’m surprised that network marketers are still pushing the hard facts of the company down the prospects mouth and 10 times out of 10 your prospects will not join you.

It’s about them not about the company.  The company is just a product/service… So what, your prospects want to know how they will benefit from joining you but you have to find their hot buttons before you can sell the benefits because each and every prospect have their own wants and needs
