Focus On Where You Are Going & NOT Where You Are At!!
I wanted to blog about this because I see it far too many times with networkers especially when newbies join the business for the first time. All network marketers need to focus on where they’re going and NOT where they’re at…
Actually, it’s not just newbies that suffer from this it’s also the ones that are building their businesses slow or even business builders that are procrastinating in moving forward. Let me explain!!
If you find yourself saying “Wow, that guy’s got 20’000 customers and 1500 Distributors I’ll never achieve that, I don’t even have 1” or “This distributors recruiting 20 people per month and I’ve only just started, I don’t know that many people to become a recruiting superstar like that”
All the above comments that newbie network marketers say in their heads maybe small comments but they’ll Kill your MLM business if you let them take over your thoughts.
It’s all about having a vision of where you want to end up NOT where you are right now… Did you understand that?? It’s interesting because most people join the business to Move Away from something or to Gain something and has soon as they join all that is forgotten and they start making excuses as to WHY this isn’t going to work…
Nobody Ever Joined Their First Network Marketing Business A Superstar!!
So to overcome this you need to Focus on ‘where you are going & NOT where you are at’
It’s called your Vision!!
So here is a few questions you could ask yourself.
Q. Where am I now?
To be able to move forward you have to evaluate where you are right now… & this means being honest with yourself!!
Q. Where do I want to be in three months?
What skills would you need to learn to be in the position to achieve this?
Q. Am I ‘ABLE’ to learn these skill’s that can change my life and my family’s life forever?
Notice how I said ‘Able’ and not willing? The reason for this is because EVERONE is able to learn new skills but is everybody willing?? …. ??
Let’s look at the phrases that we opened up with at the beginning of the post because you can easily turn those around so they’ll have a much more positive effect on you.
Instead of saying “Wow, that guy’s got 20’000 customers and 1500 Distributors I’ll never achieve that, I don’t even have 1” you could say…
“Wow, that guy’s got 20’000 customers and 1500 Distributors I wonder how he’s doing that. I must find out! Because I need to know”
That kind of thinking puts you in a different frame of mind. It puts you into a fighting position to make you take action to move forward.
You see changing the way you think will change the way you act so would it be true to say, if you start thinking differently you’ll start taking more positive actions in your business that be default is going to give you better results!!
>>Don’t blame the company for the lack of your success
This may sound harsh but I bet there’s people in the same company that’s moving forward, People in the same business that’s achieving success every month, That’s getting bigger bonus cheques every month… Right??
So let’s start again and start with your mind set… All I ask you to do is simply Read, Listen, Watch 20 to 30 minutes per day of something that’s going to help you. Maybe that’s a motivational book or an audio training on marketing either offline or online. Maybe you want to get involved in a webinar so you can watch a guest speaker tell his story and learn some powerful tips to grow your business.
You see 30 minutes a day is nothing, even if you have to get up that extra 30 minutes earlier a day to do it before the kids wake up. Belief me, your days and your energy levels will soon become alive and you’ll be moving forward loads more.
