Marketing online is an overwhelming experience once you start to think about generating leads online for your mlm business…

When I first started looking, it took me about 6 months to actual get going. The reason for this is because the internet is full of people telling you that you need a squeeze page, you need a blog, you need to write articles, create videos, spin your articles and syndicate them onto other article directories to create backlinks…

Blar, Blar, Blar, Blar Blar…. & guess where all this leaded me!!??? No where, FULL STOP!!!

I literally blow myself out of the water with confusion. Generating leads online isn’t as hard as you may think. Let me give you an example:

What is Network Marketing all about? Would you say, Building Relationships, trust & then seeing if you can help them in some way through either your primary business or your marketing system?

So at present with the latest trend being Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc..etc..) Let’s talk about Facebook because there’s around 800’000’000 active users at present, so I think there are enough people to be interactive with, to build relationships up with people you don’t know…

So being social means getting to know someone, asking questions, getting into different conversation’s over a period of time. Looking through their pictures and commenting… Not, spamming on people’s profile walls saying come and join my business or spamming with a link!!

People take their personal profile walls very serious and don’t like people that go around posting links or anything like that.

Imagine this: would you like someone to come round to your home and write something on your house door? Possibly not, it may sound extreme but like I say people take their profile walls serious!! – Including myself J

So, just be human, be nice, be caring and show them you’re genuinely interested in them and you’ll find that some people will actually want to join your business.

For Charles Gordon has he states in the video he saw someone with a porches and he asked the person “How did you get that?” simple question many people are scared to ask!!

Fear, Does It Hold You Back?

Fear is the master of all evil. It’ll kill anything you let it!! Did you know that people FEAR success, how strange is that? Yet, they struggle in a life of mediocrity living day to day in an economy at has no security.

Keep & Stay Focused!!

It’s a tough old world out there and if you let them some people are waiting to tell you that it’s not going to work, you’re wasting your time. They’re waiting for you to fail to tell you “Told You So”

So you have to toughen up, be strong and develop a mental bloke to the negatives of the world and surround yourself with like-minded people that will do nothing apart from encourage you all the way J

Work Smart & Hard!!

Like Charles Cordon states in the video “there’s always different ways to accomplish something” either the hard way, which is always the longest method or the simplest which leave’s less stress!! So you need to learn to ‘Work Smart & Hard’ to get to your RESULTS!!

Do You Have Self Believe??

Like we stated earlier it’s a tough world out there and to overcome obstacles or to get around any challenges you need a strong self believe to carry you through to see your success. If this is a problem you can read books, listen to audio programs, watch videos, attend seminars to help you gain the self believe you need.

Be careful where you accept advice from!!

I love people that always want to give you free advice… ha-ha, it makes me laugh!! I’ve spoken to lots of people that sounded like they had great potential in MLM and in between me speaking to them and signing them up the following day they’ve spoke to someone else that knows nothing about the company, Industry, Marketing, Comp plan or just money in general and you have a conversation like, No I’m sorry Andy but it’s not for me, Ok, what do you mean Mr Prospect… Well you see, I’ve spoke to me Uncle John & he knows someone who did something like this 12 years ago things like this don’t work.

You find out that Uncle John hasn’t worked for the last 5 years and all he does is watches TV and gives out great advice to family members or what about the overweight fitness instructor!? Please get info from someone who’s not just talking the talk but walking the walk!!

Like me for example:

The script that I lay out in the blog post on contacting business people from business cards, this is part of my daily plan. So I’m active in building my business with the free info I give away on my blog… I’m not just talking the talk but I’m walking the walk too!!

Qualifying your source of information  

If you don’t know don’t pretend to know… Tell the truth and find the answers out from a good source and nine times out of ten that source will be from someone how’s already in a place where you want to be!!

What are you willing to Sacrifice?  

A lot of people aren’t willing to sacrifice little things today to gain bigger things tomorrow. You know that small thing that lives at the side of your arm chair that dominates around 3 to 4 hours of your time through the day… This is not a necessity!! I call it the ‘one eyed god’ if it was a religion it would be the biggest on this planet today… Be prepared to make sacrifices!!

Empower Yourself

Empower yourself with a business that’s going to give you a return on your money… The problem with this is that in today’s world not everyone can afford to buy houses or even have the deposit to lay down for one. For a lot of people Network Marketing is the way forward because it’s a low invest with a big reward. You don’t need major skill’s, (we’ll teach them to you) there’s no financial risk, Anyone can learn to build a solid income and it’s wide open to anyone and everyone!!

In the early stages of my network marketing career I learned that If I were going to be success then it relied on me being able to help as many people as possible to gain what they wanting from the business.

Whether that is: financial, fun, friendship, security or whatever they wanted because as we all know people join this industry to achieve different things.

For as long as I remember I’ve always paid an interest in other people’s lives, helping people, encouraging others when they needed it to move forward and just always been there for anyone when it’s been needed. So helping people has always been in my blood!!

However, I’ve learned over the years that doesn’t come natural for everyone and some people need that little bit extra network marketing coaching questions to help them help their teams.

I’ve put together my Top 7 Network Marketing Coaching Question that you can ask your team members:

         So, what is it that you would like to achieve first from your business?

This is a great question because they already have a lot to think about so asking this question gets them thinking about small goals instead of aiming too high.

        What’s changed in your life that made you join our business?

Great question again because this lets them open up to you about their lives. They’ll tell you about what’s going wrong or where they’ve gone wrong?

       How do you feel about that?

I know… but simple is the key!! Once you’ve asked a question get them to keep talking and opening up even more. So this little ‘add-on’ question can be used anywhere if you feel that there’s more to get from the conversation…. Use it, it works great!

       If you could design your life, what would it be like?

Getting your team members to think bigger is one of the keys to their success because it gets them to think bigger than themselves it allows them to escape their normal boring life’s.

       How hard are you prepared to work on your success and achieving your dreams/goals?

Get them in the mind set of ‘Working’ and also in the mind set of some sort of time frame whether that’s One Year, Two Years but ultimately it should be long term and for them to commit to a 5 year plus plan.

       How would you feel if you didn’t achieve your goals?

This gets your team members into the mind-set of ‘failure isn’t an option’   

       How would you feel in the eyes of your family, friends, maybe Co-workers once you’ve achieved your goals?

Some people join because they want to prove to others that they can achieve success and that network marketing works. So a sense of pride and pleasure and fulfilment is important to some.

Question 3 is a real nice weapon to have tucked under your belt to bring out every now and then. This is powerful because

1. 1.       It allows your team member to open up &
2. 2.       It shows that you’ve sponsored them for the right reason which is to HELP them and NOT to build your wealth.

To make it more simple to understand, I’ve made a 14 minute video that breaks down all the components of web 2.0 SEO techniques & components of where you can place the content you wish to produce.

So what does Web 2.0 mean?  ‘Basically, web 2.0 is just the term for web based applications and programs that focus on information sharing and user created content and collaboration, such as youtube, facebook etc.’

Some people make this sound more complicated than it actually is however let’s just keep it simple. Web 2.0 isn’t anything new, to my knowledge it’s been around for a long time and if you can embrace it then you can really develop a heavy stream of traffic to your blog to grow your business.

The principles of business is the same for any business and you need to ‘have or create’ the characteristics and focus that’s talked about inside this video that I’m sharing with you today in this blog post!

This isn’t my video but I wanted to share it with you because if you implement just a few of these principles your business will grow faster, stronger and you’ll be building your business with integrity.

I’m just pointing out a few bullet points that I picked out from the video that I see is important to your success, plus you may not have picked up on these bullets yourself.

In no particular order:

• Know What You Want From Your Business

Goals, Desires, Aspirations are important to know, so dig deep and find out what you truly want from your business

• Understand Your Business

Know your business inside & out, the more you know the more confidence you have within yourself

• Seek Opportunities

Don’t sit on your assets waiting for people to knock on your door because it’ll not happen, get out there and seek opportunities

• Get Up & ‘Do It’

Thinking about your goals and desire’s is something anyone can do but to actually make them become reality you have to get up and take action

• What Are You Prepared To Do?

Saying I want success but I’m not prepared to do ‘this & that’ isn’t going to get you there… You have to be prepared to do whatever it takes

• Get Your Foot In The Door

Go out there and open doors for yourself, push yourself into places you wouldn’t normally go, wait for people until you can speak with them and tell them that they or their business needs you in their lives

• Be Persistent In Your Business

Don’t stop working your business until you achieve your success. Some people will try and put barriers in place, they’ll try and stop you, tell you that what you’re doing isn’t going to work… What you have to do is keep working, keep changing what’s not working and keep moving forward until you have success!

• Create Your Own Heat

Create your own deadlines, make things happen faster than you expect them to happen, set yourself daily challenges to break

• Create Your Own Name & Brand

Having your own brand is important to you and your success. In today’s world you have to set yourself apart from anyone else in your niche market. Be different, add value, stand out from the crowd, speak up, give more, expect more back…

• Become Attractive In Your Market Place That People Want To Be Around You

Following on from creating your own brand people will want to hang around with you because you’re making yourself more attractive to the market place.

• Get Out Onto The Battle Grounds

You can’t build your business sat behind your computer all the time, you have to be out there speaking with people on a daily basis, family members, stranger at meetings, appointment, events… etc…etc…

• Start Thinking Out Of The Box!

What can you do that’s different that others aren’t doing? How can you be different? How can you get noticed…? People like people that are a little different and unique in their approach!!

What happens when you receive a lead into your funnel? Well hopefully you’ll not just sit there waiting at the side of the phone telling your wife they’ll call in the next 5 minutes to join your business!!

Haha!! You might think I’m goofing around but believe me there’s some networkers that do just that and they wonder why their business isn’t growing fast enough.

Learning some top MLM prospecting questions puts you in a leadership position in front on your prospect & the better the questions the better the answers you get… Let’s get straight into this with some serious MLM prospecting questions:

So you receive a lead and you manage to pick up that brick of a phone to dial the number your new prospect left!! 3 rings and you feel like putting the phone down and saying Ha, they’re not home and on the 4^th ring the phone gets picked up!!!!!!!!!!!! Gulp!!!

You just need to chill at this point and have posture in your voice and say something like,

Hey (Prospects name) this is (Your name) you just visited my website/blog/boot camp (or wherever they left their details) and I thought I’d catch up with you to see how I can help you?

‘You’ve asked a question so it warrants a reply’

Whatever they come back with I always try to dig deeper into the problem before I answer a question. On the service it may seem like a problem to them but it might only actually be superficial…

So I would say something like, “Tell me more about that (Name), what do you mean? or Can you give me an example? Or can you tell me some more?

This is good because it means you are actually paying an interest in them and you’re not just there to spout off any old answer…. You are now putting yourself in a leaderships position and they’ll really value your input.

Stop Pitching Your Business

The whole idea of calling prospects and pitching them on your business is all out of date and if you’re attracting people into your funnel that have been to your blog looking for some guidance the last thing they want to hear about is your company… Add value first!! Results later!!

You may find they’ll ask you about your business and in that case ask them what they’d like to know and answer them or direct them to your company webinar, conference video, opportunity video or whatever tool you use.

Can you see how knowing some MLM prospecting questions can make your life on the phone easier than you would imagine…

It’s essential that you build up good report with your prospects. Find out about their;

• Families  
• Occupation
• Recreation
• Message – Your answer if that’s your Attraction Marketing system, Opportunity or just a simple answer to their problems!!

But the idea here is to get to know your prospect and build that relationship up that in time they get something from you!!

So if you look at the way you deal with your phone calls you actually deal with your prospect more from a consultation point of view… The better your MLM prospecting questions the better you’ll feel about picking up the phone and making that all important business call…

Taking action in business is the key to all success!! I’m writing this blog because theirs people in the industry that need to realise this principle.

It’s action that = Success, nothing else matters!!

• Shuffling paper around on your desk,
• Putting out the trash,
• Cleaning the garage.
• Walking around thinking that you’re an important business person
  

Most network marketers are busy just being busy and NOT busy doing the money producing activities that’s going to create the large incomes.

Why is this??

• Is it fear of failure?
• Fear of success?
• Fear that they’re not going to be liked?
• Fear of what others may think?
• Fear of being rejected?
• Fear of not knowing what to say?

In actual fact FEAR plays a big part in building your business and most network marketers will do anything over getting stuck into creating success!!

I learned this saying a few years ago & I want to pass it onto you now…

Try and build your business on no emotion”

I understand it’ll be hard but don’t get emotionally attached to whether your brother in-law’s going to join your business or what your auntie thinks about your new venture.

This is about you and we too often go through life worrying what others may think…
